i'm building an unusual piece in the mountains of southern california, that may be of interest to aspiring or experienced designers and builders. the walls of the piece are already 9 feet high, and i'm just getting to the "fun" part. i'm open to volunteers who have a strong interest in the concepts and process of building domes, and to folks who would like to do some documentation of the project. Conditions on-site are limited; basicially camping, running water but no power. The site is located @ 4,500 ft. in a high desert enviorment. there is a world-class hotsprings (deep creek) 5 miles away, and much quality rock climbing in the area, which may add to the appeal. there are several other earth bag projects in the area that can be visited easily from the site, including Cal-Earth and the Lien family dome home. this project is at once both a unique art piece and an efficient work site, a singular opportunity to learn.
